Poly cotton made in UK Pit jacket. Modelled on jackets that were worn at the racetrack by pit crews in the 60’s. It is lightweight and unlined with a single double popper front hip pocket. Short in the body as they were back in the day. YKK zip and a pen pocket on the sleeve. Also available in Olive Green.

Wore my pit jacket for the first time today after buying it over the New Year on one of my (sadly all too infrequent) trips to Brighton. I’m 5′ 7, and though I generally wear my trousers wrongly I’ve found the length spot-on. Put that together with the snug fit and, well, the design and it’s probably the most stylish thing I own. Went for a size up (46 instead of 44) and the fit is just about perfect. A tad short as I’m nearly 6′ 3″ but not enough to warrant a return. Would probably be an issue for tall younger men who like trousers to sit below the waist.
PS: Looks great with the gold scarf.
