A timeless, classic shoe. I usually take a size 10 but found they were too big. The 9 1/2 were perfect and the staff very helpful in sending the second pair out to me by post. I can’t stop wearing these shoes, and they look equally good under a pair of Levi’s or with formal trousers or a suit. I would highly recommend these shoes.

I ordered a pair of “Loake Royal Black” from Jump the Gun after I looked up the word “brogue” in the dictionary and there was no definition – just a picture of these.

Was in the Brighton area and got chance the chance to get into the shop to buy a pair in black ( will be buying the Burgundy at a later date.) Perfect with my tonic suits and sta prests. Absolutely beautiful shoes of top quality. A big thank you to the two assistants for their excellent help and advice, sorry I didn’t catch their names ( young lady with the dark hair and her colleague whose white scooter was parked outside).
